I am a serial shopper, and a self proclaimed clothes horse. For those of you that have the urge to always buy something, and get the shakes when you walk by Zara than you are in my camp.
I religiously read fashion blogs like Something Navy and Sincerley Jules, and pretty much swoon over every outfit they curate. I like to think I have my own style, and set trends (in my mind), but there are some looks I MUST replicate.
Here are some outfits that are in my rotation for 2016.
This look is so simple. I love how effortless it is. I know that we all have similar pieces in our closet already so recreating this look won't be too difficult.

Split Pencil Skirt (similar TopShop.com)
Brixton Leonard Hat (HenninHeadwear.com)
Booties (similar SteveMadden.com)
I am so obsessed with mixing patterns and fabrics. I love how Jules takes a bold plaid and mixes it with a leopard shoe. I have already scooped up a pair of lace up flats, and can't wait to wear them.

Plaid Top (similar Nordstrom.com)
Skinny Jeans (similar Levis.com)
I literally have this exact outfit, and I am so excited to wear it. It makes me feel like Blair Waldorf.
Navy Blue Skater Skirt (similar Glamorous.com)
Round Neck Sweater (similar Zara.com)
White Button Up (similar NastyGal.com I love this one because of the cut out back)
Over the Knee Boot (similar Zara.com)
Ooh La La! I love this dress, and you can never go wrong with a simple leather jacket. I want to wear this outfit ASAP so I will be pairing it with tights and a fur vest instead.
Plaid Ruffle Dress (similar Madewell.com I like this color pattern better)
Leather Jacket (similar JBrand.com)
It can be stressful to find a New Years Eve outfit, especially if you are like me and want choices. I tend to line my bed with a selection of pieces and spend maybe 2 hours trying them on, and self analyzing while drinking of course.
This year I am trying to be more proactive, and thought I would share some of my favorite outfits no matter where NYE 2016 takes you.
Can this dress get any sexier? If you are spending your night at the club than this is the perfect mix of sexy and classy. I love the lace detail, and long sleeves. I would pair it with a bright color heel and drop necklace.
I just bought this beauty because the fabric and pattern reminded me of the background in my 5th grade photos. I really love the cut, and it's a shape that is flattering on everyone. Pair this mini dress with over the knee boots and you are ready to go!
While online shopping I fell in love with this curated outfit from Van De Vort. I will take any excuse to wear a hat, and a house party seems like the perfect place. Pair our shetland bolero with a lace up top from free people and you are ready to party the night away.
I am in the process of redesigning my apartment, and I can't help but drool over everything that Restoration Hardware has to offer, but the problem is that buying anything from RH will put me in debt for life.
After many sleepless nights, and hours spent counting up my change jar in hopes I would find enough for a miracle, I was forced to start looking elsewhere. Much to my surprise there are so many amazing sites and options to choose from that I wanted to share some of my finds.
I had my eye on this RH couch, too bad it starts at $6500! I found this baby at Anthropologie for only $2900...scary that seems like a bargain.
I was in search of a new TV console, and wanted something rustic and masculine. I opted for this all metal welded beauty from World Market...at $629.00 it's a steal.
I also spent many nights dreaming about this upholstered bed from RH but at $3000 it was breaking the bank. I found this amazing copy bed at Overstock (they even call it the same name- Chesterfield!), and it is only $1100.
I was dying for this first cabinet to showcase all of the things I have collected from my travels, but the $1800 price tag would put my credit card over the limit, so I opted for this copy from World Market for $399.
Overall I had great luck hunting down deals. Sites like World Market, Overstock, and Wayfair offer a great selection and affordable prices. I love using RH as inspiration, but that is really all it will ever be for me...pure inspiration.
We are taking a little vacay and will be out of the office from 10/23 through 11/2. Don't worry we will be back, but for now enjoy free shipping on us!
We are all packed and ready to go with our favorite accessory in hand, a hat obviously. This trip calls for our Janessa Leone Lucy in gunmetal.
See you when we get back.
There is a chill in the air, and riding boots are in full force. It is officially fall ladies, and I don't know about you but I am ready to drop some serious dough to fuel my fashion addiction. I can't believe the summer is coming to an end, but our latest fall shipment of hats is really helping curb my depression. I am seriously obsessed with this falls color palette which is a mix of earth tones and neutrals. All you need this fall is a basic tee, ripped jeans, a super cute trench, and a fedora.
Here are some of my favorite styles for the fall.
I was never a lipstick girl until I started to branch out from what I knew lipstick to be, and now I never leave home without it. I was never sure what color to buy or even what brand or vessel was the best. I tried all different kinds from traditional lipstick to the kind you have to apply with a brush. It was a long and hard journey to find the best lipstick but I finally settled on a Nars Lip Pencil that I absolutely LOVE.
When choosing lipstick you should consider the size of your lips. Are they large, is your bottom lip bigger than your top, do you have bird lips, etc. For thinner lips try lighter to medium shades like peach, pale pink, or light beige and opt for a tube lipstick with a brush or tinted lip gloss. Most traditional lipsticks will just provide extra coverage and can cause that "clown" mouth look.
You can also go for a lip liner to add some extra volume and of course a really good lip plumper will go a long way!
For larger lips you can really wear any color. Lip pencils and traditional cream lipsticks work perfectly. During the day opt for a soft pink or neutral and at night try something dark like a burgundy or berry for a sexier look. I love the Givenchy brand lip stick not only does it have a really luxe feel but the colors are beautiful, and my new favorite is the Nars Lip Pencil in Sex Machine.
