It's October and prime time at the wineries, but what the heck are you supposed to wear? Don't panic we are here to help.
Tip 1: Check the weather! Is it hot? Is it windy? Once you have determined what the weather is going to be like then you can make better decisions on how to dress. Layering is the best option because as the wine warms your body you can remove clothes for optimal comfort. We love wearing a tartan plaid shirt with jeans or leggings, and when we get hot we just tie that bad boy around our waist. You can never go wrong with a kimono and leather jacket either.
Tip 3: Wear flat boots either knee high or low cut booties. Please leave your heels at home. You will for sure be walking on grass, mud, tile, wood, and many other surfaces throughout your trip so the best option is to go with flats. We also do not recommend being tipsy in heels.
Wineries are a place for fun and relaxation so we never like to over stylize our outfit. Choose colors that are neutral and flirty, cranberry is a hot color for fall, and layer layer layer. Throw on your favorite hat and you are ready for the ultimate day of wine tasting.
