I am in the process of redesigning my apartment, and I can't help but drool over everything that Restoration Hardware has to offer, but the problem is that buying anything from RH will put me in debt for life.
After many sleepless nights, and hours spent counting up my change jar in hopes I would find enough for a miracle, I was forced to start looking elsewhere. Much to my surprise there are so many amazing sites and options to choose from that I wanted to share some of my finds.
I had my eye on this RH couch, too bad it starts at $6500! I found this baby at Anthropologie for only $2900...scary that seems like a bargain.
I was in search of a new TV console, and wanted something rustic and masculine. I opted for this all metal welded beauty from World Market...at $629.00 it's a steal.
I also spent many nights dreaming about this upholstered bed from RH but at $3000 it was breaking the bank. I found this amazing copy bed at Overstock (they even call it the same name- Chesterfield!), and it is only $1100.
I was dying for this first cabinet to showcase all of the things I have collected from my travels, but the $1800 price tag would put my credit card over the limit, so I opted for this copy from World Market for $399.
Overall I had great luck hunting down deals. Sites like World Market, Overstock, and Wayfair offer a great selection and affordable prices. I love using RH as inspiration, but that is really all it will ever be for me...pure inspiration.
There is a chill in the air, and riding boots are in full force. It is officially fall ladies, and I don't know about you but I am ready to drop some serious dough to fuel my fashion addiction. Fall is by far my favorite season. Scarves, leather jackets, beanies, and sweaters are part of my everyday uniform.
With my heart full and my wallet half empty I am so excited about this seasons must haves.
The Perfect Fall Wrap- Capulet $265.00
The Riding Boot- Stuart Weitzman $645.00
The Oversized Turtleneck-Free People $168.00
The Perfect Fedora- Hennin Headwear $52.00
The Statement Accessory- Vanessa Mooney $48.00
I can't believe the summer is coming to an end, but our latest fall shipment of hats is really helping curb my depression. I am seriously obsessed with this falls color palette which is a mix of earth tones and neutrals. All you need this fall is a basic tee, ripped jeans, a super cute trench, and a fedora.
Here are some of my favorite styles for the fall.
I was never a lipstick girl until I started to branch out from what I knew lipstick to be, and now I never leave home without it. I was never sure what color to buy or even what brand or vessel was the best. I tried all different kinds from traditional lipstick to the kind you have to apply with a brush. It was a long and hard journey to find the best lipstick but I finally settled on a Nars Lip Pencil that I absolutely LOVE.
When choosing lipstick you should consider the size of your lips. Are they large, is your bottom lip bigger than your top, do you have bird lips, etc. For thinner lips try lighter to medium shades like peach, pale pink, or light beige and opt for a tube lipstick with a brush or tinted lip gloss. Most traditional lipsticks will just provide extra coverage and can cause that "clown" mouth look.
You can also go for a lip liner to add some extra volume and of course a really good lip plumper will go a long way!
For larger lips you can really wear any color. Lip pencils and traditional cream lipsticks work perfectly. During the day opt for a soft pink or neutral and at night try something dark like a burgundy or berry for a sexier look. I love the Givenchy brand lip stick not only does it have a really luxe feel but the colors are beautiful, and my new favorite is the Nars Lip Pencil in Sex Machine.

Founded by Julie Sarinana this blog is EVERYTHING. We love her bohemian free spirit style, and read her blog for daily fashion inspiration. She loves to mix patterns and fabrics, and we tend to always struggle with how to do this and still look chic. Ever since we started reading Sincerely Jules we are now mixed media experts. If this is not part of your blog regiment add this now. She also has her own line of graphic tees which are super cute and affordable.
If you love Pinterest than you will love this blog. They offer so much visually, and highlight collections of images weaved together as well as high quality writing. We tend to read the DIY section every morning because let's face it our budget is often tight and if we can make some knock off Chan Luu bracelets in our own home to save $100 then we are all about it.
If you are looking for unique tips and new fashion angles then this is the blog for you. Man Repeller gives us our morning laugh. They also give a wide variety of topics from fashion to pop culture that keep you on your toes. You can also see their picks for new fashion must haves and shop right from their site.

Travel more..that was our new years resolution, and we are sticking to it! With some big plans on the horizon we have been on the hunt for a new carry on bag. Our budget keeps changing because we will save up money for a carry on, but then a new pair of boots catches our eye, or there is a sale at Bloomingdales! So through our epic search we narrowed it down to 5 bags that we think any fashionista would love no matter what your cash situation may be.
1. Reversible Vegan Leather Tote
We found this style at Nordstroms and Urban Outfitters and at only $48.00 it is a steal. It comes in a wide variety of colors like black, blush, plum, brown, grey, etc. The best part is that the inside and outside are different colors and it is reversible, so essentially you get 2 looks in one! We love the soft leather and the magnet closure. It makes for the ideal carry on because you can get in and out of it with ease. There is a bonus bag inside to store your passport and phone!
2. Printed Backpack
So essentially any backpack would be an ideal carry on bag, but we just fell in love with this printed bag from Free People. We are obsessed with the leather and textile mix along with the endless amounts of pockets and closures. It would definitely fit our magazines, camera, extra pair of shoes, snacks, and all of our other travel essentials. At $198 it is an investment, but you can't put a price on handmade and leather!
3. Leather Satchel
Madewell does it again with the Glasgow Satchel. It is the perfect weekender that can fit all of the things you can't leave home without. It comes in 4 colors and has a shoulder strap as well as sturdy handles. It can double as a purse which we love. At $198 it was at the top end of our budget, but it is worth every penny. You will definitely have this bag for a very long time, because it is made to last.
4. Catalina Canvas Bag
We found this canvas bag at Lo & Sons and fell in love. The extra compartment at the bottom is awesome, and we have already started to think of things to put in there like our shoes, hair dryer, or hat. The size is just right, and the canvas material makes it durable and sturdy. At $120 it is such a steal. It is machine washable and can easily store when you are not using it.
5. Printed Convertible Weekender
Okay so before we blow your mind take a look at the gorgeous pattern on this bag. We found this weekender at Kohls for a serious bargain price of $34.99. The floral pattern is so on point and comes in a light pink or baby blue. The straps are a blend of faux leather and canvas, and they are adjustable making the bag versatile and perfect for long trips. We want this bag in both colors because at $34.99 you can not go wrong.
There you have it, our picks for the best carry on bags no matter what your budget is. We love all of these and would buy them all if we didn't just blow our savings on 3 new Janessa Leone fedoras. If you aren't quite sure what to pack in one of these beauties check out our picks for the top 5 items you must have in your suitcase.
